What is the "style" of worship?
Worship is a time to celebrate and nourish our faith. Active participation is encouraged.
How long does worship last?
While the length of worship varies, it begins with announcements at 10:10am and generally concludes between 11:15 and 11:30am.
How should I dress?
Central Christian Church is a “come as you are” church. Jeans or ties are equally welcomed.
How often do you have communion?
Communion is celebrated every week. You do not need to be a church member to receive God’s gift of the Lord’s Supper. Everyone who believes is welcome to the table of forgiveness and love.
What about music?
The style of music is a blend of praise choruses and traditional hymns. A wonderful choir and special song selections by invited guests and church members bring God’s message through music. Our talented bell choir also performs traditional and modern music during some worship services. Meghan Schumacker leads Central's music program.
Is a nursery available?
Yes. A well-staffed, bright and beautiful nursery is available for children three years old and under during worship. The nursery is located just across the gathering area, within eyesight from the sanctuary.
Are children welcome?
Absolutely! A children’s moment is featured in every worship service and Sunday School is provided for children from age four through the fourth grade, beginning after the children's moment.
Is Central Christian Church accessible?
Central Christian Church is accessible for those with physical needs through the southeast entrance off of the parking lot.
Fellowship: Everyone is encouraged to share in fellowship with one another before and after worship.
