Lenten Services Schedule
In just a few short weeks, the season of Lent will again be observed. This is a great opportunity for Christians to give a united message about the salvation that has been given to all through the sacrifice of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
The following congregations have volunteered to host this service on the dates indicated:
- Feb 22 - First United Church of Christ
- Feb 29 - St. Henry's Catholic Church
- Mar 7 - First Friends Church
- Mar 14 - Elim Lutheran Church
- Mar 21 - New Hope Christian Church
- Mar 28 - Hope United Methodist Church
- April 4 - First Congregational Church
Breakfast will start at 6:30am, followed by a Lenten message. The host congregation is asked to be finished by 7:15am.The suggested theme for this season will be, "What does Christ's resurrection mean to me?"
Bible Study
Our adult Sunday School class will continue exploring the book of James through March. Pastor Rick Warren, author of Purpose Driven Life, leads the discussion on DVD. Afterwards we spend time with discussion questions. Everyone is welcome in the downstairs library at 9am Sundays.
