Central Christian Church believes in extending its ministry far outside the confines of the church walls. We engage in activities throughout the year that support Marshalltown, Iowa, our Region, the United States, and God's world. Below are just a few examples of our commitement to Missions.
House of Compassion

"For I was hungered, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in, Naked, and ye clothed me …" Matthew 25:35
The House of Compassion offers daily evening meals, a homeless shelter, household and personal products, prescription and rent vouchers, school supplies and other services to those in need.

Central Christian Church supports these efforts through donations of time and supplies collected from members and friends of Central.

Mission Trips
Central Christian Church organizes a mission trip annually to provide support for others in need. Participants always return feeling tired but fulfilled and enriched in their service to God and God's people.
Mission trips include meals, activities, worship and learning about the community we're visiting. They're a great way to meet new people of all ages and from all over the country.
Participants must be age 3 or older, although CCC youth in grades 4 and below must be accompanied by a parent. Our middle school and high school youth are typically strongly represented, along with many adults who participate nearly annually.
