Central Christian Church has an active and growing youth ministry.

For children in preschool (age 4) through 4th grade, we have a great Sunday School program. Check out our Christian Education web page to learn more.
For grades 5-8, we have a Junior Youth Fellowship (JYF) group that meets at least twice a month. Our activities include fun and games, service projects, fundraising for our annual mission trip, and study.
The Christian Youth Fellowship (CYF) group for high school students (grades 9-12) also meets twice a month for study, fun, fellowship and service.

This is an exciting time to be a part of the Central Christian youth groups. Our high school youth will have fun on the slopes this winter when they visit the Sleepy Hollow Sports Park for tubing and skiing. The middle school youth will be participating in a couple of special events in the coming months, including the ecumenical Total U Girls Conference in Marshalltown and an overnight Pastor’s Class Retreat at the Norwalk Christian Church where we’ll learn about baptism and joining the church.

Both youth groups will host a St. Patrick's Day Meal on Saturday, March 17, as a fundraiser for this summer's mission trip to northern Michigan. Tickets are on sale in the church office or from youth group members, so get your tickets and enjoy an Irish-inspired meal and live fiddle music!
Youth are invited to come to any meeting at any time. The more the merrier!

Our JYF (grades 5-8) youth group generally meets the second and fourth Sunday of each month from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the youth room on the third floor; click here for a schedule of upcoming meetings.
